2024 International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering 

and Intelligent Control Technology was successfully concluded!

2024年计算机科学、电子信息工程和智能控制技术国际会议圆满落幕!

From November 8 to 10, 2024, the 2024 International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology ( CEI 2024 ) was successfully held in Guangzhou, which was supported by IEEE SMC and IEEE Smart Cities, sponsored bySouth China University of Technology and Guangzhou Robotics Association, co-organized by University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and University of Calabria of Italy, and hosted by Pazhou Laboratory, AEIC Academic Exchange Centerand Guangzhou Keao Information Technology Co., Ltd. More than 200 experts, scholars and business people from more than 100 universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad gathered in Huacheng, focusing on computer, electronic information, communication, control and other fields to discuss and exchange.

2024年11月8-10日，由IEEE SMC和IEEE Smart Cities技术支持，华南理工大学、广州市机器人协会主办，电子科技大学、华中科技大学与意大利卡拉布里亚大学协办，琶洲实验室、AEIC学术交流中心与广州科奥信息技术股份有限公司承办的2024年广州市“国际学术会议之都”建设项目——2024年计算机科学、电子信息工程和智能控制技术国际会议（CEI 2024）在广州顺利举办。来自国内外一百多家高校、科研机构的200多位专家、学者、企业界人士齐聚花城，聚焦计算机、电子信息、通信、控制等领域探讨交流。

The opening ceremony was hosted by IEEE Fellow and Professor Min Chen from South China University of Technology. The conference invited IEEE Fellow, Chairman of IEEE SMCS Italian Branch, Co-Chairman of Interactive and Wearable Computing and Equipment Technology Committee, Professor Giancarlo Fortino from University of Calabria, Italy, Zhipeng Cheng, First-level Researcher of Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Association to deliver the opening speech. In the speech, they expressed warm congratulations on the convening of the conference, and expressed warm welcome and most sincere greetings to the experts and scholars attending the conference !

In recognition of the outstanding performance of the researchers at this meeting, the conference set up a special awards section. After rigorous review, two IEEE SMC best student paper awards, two excellent paper awards, two excellent young scholars report award winners and two excellent poster award winners were finally selected. This link not only inspires the enthusiasm of the younger generation of scientific researchers, but also sets a good example for the entire academic community.

为了表彰在本次会议上表现突出的研究者们，大会特别设置了评优颁奖环节。经过严格评审，最终评选出了两篇IEEE SMC最佳学生论文奖、两篇优秀论文奖、两名优秀青年学者报告奖获得者以及两名优秀海报奖获奖者。这一环节不仅激励了年轻一代科研人员的积极性，也为整个学术界树立了良好的榜样。

So far, the 2024 International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology ( CEI 2024 ), the construction project of " International Academic Conference Capital " in Guangzhou, has been successfully concluded. The successful holding of this conference not only provides a high-quality information exchange platform for domestic and foreign counterparts, but also promotes interdisciplinary communication and cooperation. More importantly, it actively responds to the strategic deployment of Guangzhou to accelerate the construction of an innovative city, which is of great significance for promoting the development of related industries such as computer science, electronic information engineering and intelligent control technology in the local and even the whole country.
